Entering a new era
Since 2020, the world has changed. Business has changed. How we do things has changed. And I was not immune to that. I had slowly started taking steps back from my photography. Concentrating on providing and showing up in different ways. I started working a full-time job in very emotionally draining environments. Went though some heartbreak and some health issues. I didn't have much left over for creativity! I upskilled and upgraded my life... but unfortunately that meant, I didn't have enough to give to my business.
I had my few loyal clients that stuck with me, booking me for all their beautiful adventures and life changes. I kept the creative candle lit... just enough to not loose that flame.
I recently took a step back into a more flexible full-time role. One that was less stressful and closer to home. I prioritised my health and my self care... and low and behold, the creative energy started to flow again! Amazing what a full night sleep and an iron infusion can do!
A maternity here, a newborn there. A formal and a wedding with a sprinkle of family thrown in. I started to find the passion and drive to get back into it.
I am different now. I have grown. I have changed, but my love to creating memories has stayed the same.
I am excited to get back in and start creating magic again. To have fun and be a little wild and silly with my shoots.
