Kari & Matthias. Wow! What an amazingly fun time we had!

Kari and I have been friends since childhood. We got up to lots of mischief on our farm in Maleny... falling through roof's (well that was me haha... Kari stood up the top watching me as I thought I was dying haha), riding bikes and being... well KIDS!! Not like kids today... but actual, fun, grubby, stay out till dark KIDS!! 

We haven't connected for I think we worked out over 20 years... even though we live 20minutes from each other and being in contact via facebook! But when we did finally catch up... BOY was it worth it! In our mummy and me mini session, we had an absolute blast. Our kids (my daughter often comes to assist on shoots!) got on like a house on fire, and we just picked up where we left off... only BETTER! 

This shoot, not only special for me because of our childhood connection... but so special to see the bond between these 2. Kari is a single mum... and has done a champion job raising a beautiful, sensitive, caring and crazy goofy fun kind! Their relationship is so super special... light hearted and fun. Reminds me a lot of my own with my girl! 

I was so glad to be able to spend this time with Kari, capturing their special bond for them to treasure for years to come.
